The 175/176 distinction between major and minor whorls is also exhibited here because the two hexagonal yods on the root edge are shared with the seven polygons enfolded in one another on the other side of the central Pillar of Equilibrium. One hexagonal yod in the root edge is associated with one set of polygons and the second hexagonal yod is associated with the other set. Therefore, 175 hexagonal yods are associated with each set. Once again, the number 175 is a parameter of an object viewed as part of another object, whist the number 176 characterizes the seven enfolded polygons as a whole. It expresses an object that is complete in itself, just as the three Sephiroth of the Supernal Triad are, in contrast to the seven Sephiroth of Construction, which in a profound sense are emergent from them. This manifests in the higher-order spirillae of the seven minor whorls of the UPA being determined by the number 175, whilst those in the three major whorls are determined by the number 176.
